Go Tony!!! Jog-a-thon!!!

Tony was running laps around his principle this year for his annual jog-a-thon! Last year he ran 14 (elementary size) laps and raised $180. This year, he ran 21 LAPS and raised $225!!! His school has raised close to $20,000 this year alone with the jog-a-thon. Great job Tony! We are still waiting on some of his neat prizes and to see if he placed #1 in his class, it was a close call......

Spring Love, Fun & Beauty

These are some of the cute tiny little birds that come out during the spring and take over a big tree we have in the back yard. Such beautiful colors! Another picture is of a friend of AJ's. Easter at Grandma Sheri's House!

Grandma Sheri and Steve planned a big easter egg hunt for the boys when we came out! The eggs were spread out all down their path way and into several grassy areas. We had a BBQ with yummy salmon, potatoes, hot dogs, turkey and other yummy goodies! Thank you Grandma sheri and Steve for the wonderful day!!! And also..........HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEG! WE LOVE YOU!!!

aj's stories of the day

2 funny stories from AJ in this past week..........

Well the story goes that after my shower the other night, i decided to do some sit ups. The sit ups turned into push ups &.....then that turned into dancing around by myself with my ipod trying to get some fun cardio in for the day. Now keep in mind that I just got out of the shower so all of these things had been done still in the buff. The next day, I was making fun of myself telling my sister Shelsi about it and my little 4 year old AJ overheard our conversation and this was his reply......
"WHAT! YOU WERE DANCING AROUND NAKED!!! OH MY GOSH MOM, THAT IS INAPPROPRIATE!"

NEXT CUTE STORY....

Me: "Aj, do you know how much I love you?"

AJ: "um...like one hundred fifty one?"

Me: "nope, even more than that"

AJ: "One hundred fifty two???"

Me: Nope, way way way more than that, like to infinity!"

AJ: "LIKE TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!?!?"


Again I say, my kids are the greatest!!!

Easter 2009 with Sanoja clan

Every year at Easter time we all gather together to celebrate. We all hike down Wildwood Canyon. It is so amazingly beautiful down there and it makes me so grateful to be living on the incredible planet!

We eat, play, talk, hike, take pix and at the end we have and Easter egg hunt. One for the kids and one for the adults. The adult eggs are real eggs, emptied and filled with flour. Tons of fun!

Ventura Pier fishing in March

We had an awesome time this last Saturday going to the Ventura peir and fishing. Tony caught his first fish and the rest of the boys caught many! Our whole family, Grandpa Art, Grandpa Ric, Uncle Tony, Rob, Kari, Carter, and Bella were all there to spend the day with us! it was a blast!

I love the beauty that surrounds us in our lives! Ive been walking to the park a couple days per week and we love it! Ive given a lot of business cards out and Ive gotten several calls back. Yay!

Story of the day - by AJ Sanoja

As I am folding some of Andrews clothes, I pick up one of his pants. AJ tells me...

"Those use to be my pants....when I was bigger"

I reply "When you were bigger? What do you mean?"

"When I was bigger a trillion years ago" he tells me with such confidence.

"Did you have a job" I asked.

"yes! I was a missionary. And I did lots and lots of work!" He replies back.

"That is pretty amazing stuff to remember" I tell him.

"Yep! I did lots of work and I finished it!" He says, with a big smile on his face.

Children are amazing little beings! I love it!
